Doors Open: School doors open at 8:00 a.m.

School Begins: The instructional day begins promptly at 8:15 a.m. Students should arrive before 8:15 to ensure a smooth start to the day.

Monday Morning Meeting: Every Monday, our school community begins the day together with a whole-school Morning Meeting in the gym, celebrating our week ahead as one Gordon Parks family. Families are welcome to walk their students to the gym on the first day.

Enter campus through the south parking lot.

Drop students off with GPE staff in front of the south-facing mural (Door 1).

If you arrive after 8:15 a.m., please park and escort your child to Door 2 to sign them in.

Bus routes begin around 6:45 a.m. and arrive at Gordon Parks at approximately 8:00 a.m.

Students will enter through Door 3, where they will be welcomed by GPE staff and escorted into the building.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: Dismissal begins at 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday: Dismissal begins at 2:00 p.m.

Car Rider Pick-Up: Families should enter through the south parking lot, stay in their car and line up along the curb. A GPE staff member will escort your child to your vehicle for a safe and efficient dismissal.

Bus Riders: Students will be escorted to their buses by GPE staff and dismissed according to their assigned route.
